Ygor had just finished swimming when I took this. His skin still held the salt water, catching the late afternoon sun like it was part of him. There’s a softness to this moment. Even with the shadows sharp around him and the towel thrown casually over his head. He stood there without performance, just being.

This is what I love most about photographing people: when they forget the camera’s even there.
