Matheus is a model I met during my time in São Paulo. We didn’t speak the same language fluently, but something about his energy felt clear and grounded . This image was made on a medium format camera, using natural light pouring in from an old warehouse window. I wanted to lean into the blur. I wanted to let the motion speak.
